What: Arizona Freestyle Judo Fall Scrimmage

A Judo scrimmage is a practice tournament or competition where Judo practitioners can test their skills and techniques in a controlled environment, but in a less formal and less competitive setting, designed to give athletes experience, practice, and feedback.
All participants will receive a free T-shirt and Certificate of Participation, but no medals will be given. Nationally qualified Judo Officials will conduct the matches and experienced examiners will give participants constructive feedback.
No membership in any Judo-governing body required; all are welcome.

Note to all participants, coaches, and parents:
This event is Sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Association (A.A.U.). All participants MUST have a current AAU membership (and proof thereof). There is no registration fee for the scrimmage (practice tournament) and it is intended to be a cross club practice to promote friendship and improve Judo skills. All officials are volunteers and in training. Participants may be beginners, who have never competed before. Please be patient and models of good sportsmanship.
